How has my concept developed and adapted over the project so far?

Since my proposal my concept has changed quite a bit. I think when I wrote my proposal my knowledge of synesthesia was still slightly underdeveloped and as I am learning more about it, it is giving me a better understanding of how I want my website to look. When I originally thought about the design for the website I divided into different sections which were: interactive, learning centre and the vision. Throughout this project I have realised that my images are much broader than these 3 categories. I stumbled upon my idea for my website layout when creating this image. I edited the front image and just changed the colour of it, it was only when I had finished the complete image that I realised that I had done 5 copies. One for each sense. I thought this was perfect because I could divide each section of the website up for each sense and then each group of images would go into each section.

ORANGE (TASTE)
5 different images of girl eating different food- what does it make you feel? What are the foods that encourage an emotional connection? What more could I do with it?

PINK (TOUCH)
imagination images- 1st of 3 cluster images
Go through the FB page and see what other images I can create from the comments.
Ask Amy if she can model again

BLUE (SOUND)
Think about how to do the interactive images. Look on flash- see how they work.

NORMAL (SIGHT)

Double exposure cinemagraphs- ask people what resinates with them- think about what films I could put behind the images. Have a look how to actually create the images.

I was finding it difficult to place smell because it is very difficult to portray smell without actually experiencing it. However, I was really please with this image and planned to make it interactive for the homepage of the website. I do feel like a lot of the good things that happen through this project are through my spontaneity. I think the website building is coming together and I am enjoying editing the images in lots of different ways.
